Jillian is at it again with her new show “Losing It With Jillian”. Michaels is off The Biggest Loser ranch, and into overweight families’ homes, all across the U.S. In a country plagued by obesity problems, Michaels is hoping to help struggling households learn how to gain control of their weight, and of their lives again.

Every week, Jillian travels to a new place in the country, and stays in the house of a family wrestling with weight and health issues. She equips each individual member of the household with the essential knowledge, and tools to combat their weight issues. Jillian often has to play both the roles of psychiatrist and physician fitness trainer. She assesses what brought these families to their current weight situation, and how to reverse it.
Michaels brings her characteristic drill-sergeant brand of training, and will not take no for an answer. She pushes these families out of their comfort zone and helps them to realize the dire straits they are in, if they don’t radically alter their ways.

Each family will attempt to begin new exercise and diet plans. After a week, Jillian leaves the family to their own devices, with hopes that they will use the things she’s taught them to make positive changes in their lives, and reach goals. She then returns after 6-8 weeks, and checks on the progress of the family. Their progress, and accomplishments are then shown to their extended family and friends, in a festive reunion.
